Good station, nice old GWR building. Plenty of trains to Birmingham, London, Oxford, Southampton and Manchester. Hardly any parking though as former back car park is now turning into houses. If youre using a car to get to the station go to Warwick Parkway for trains to London or Birmingham or park on the back streets.
Small station but has lots of places to go to. The ticket machines have often queues in front of them.
My 85 year father was travelling alone. Staff on station platform overheard me making sure Dad knew is seat number ect, and offered to help dad on the train, arranged for someone at his change destination to help him on his onward travel . Very helpful, very friendly,very well done
Extremely positive staff experience at Leamington Spa station. On Saturday 21st July, station manager Janine rescued my partner and me from misfortune when we left a suitcase in an overhead rack on our train from London. From her office Janine quickly alerted the train driver who with his staff located the case, which was then taken off the train and sent back to Leamington for us to collect just a couple of hours later. A huge relief. Janine was calm, friendly and helpful throughout our small drama and helped us avoid a large headache on our travels wed like to give her a big thank you!
Great town! Good restaurants and nightlife due Warwick Uni but also calm and posh
