There is only one word to describe the sales manager's attitude at this place, and that is obnoxious. After insulting some people before me, he unfortunately walked over to offer "assistance". I told him I had a shortlist of cars, and one of those was a 50000+ car they had in. I wanted to test drive this to which his response was "we don't do test drives, go and waste the time of the main dealer". I also asked how long the car had been in to which he replied "I don't know why people ask this question as I would just lie and say a very short time". People like this give hard working considerate sales people a bad name. If you don't enjoy your job, or don't want to provide a good level of customer service, then you shouldn't really be doing it. Especially considering how much your customer is about to spend. I've never seen anything like it. I'm glad I went back in and gave this person feedback, although on the way home I felt bad wondering if he had some level autism.
